STRENGTH IN EVERY STONE SINCE 1975

Perea Masonry was built on hard work, family values, and the belief that the American Dream is earned through dedication and perseverance. Our story begins in 1975, when Marcial arrived in the United States from Mexico. A year later, he began working as a helper in the brick-laying trade—laying the foundation for what would become decades of craftsmanship.

By 1996, Marcial became a bricklayer, contributing to the construction of schools, commercial buildings, and major developments throughout Texas. His commitment to excellence and his journey from immigrant to proud U.S. citizen in 1997 continue to inspire our company’s mission and work ethic.

In 2013, thanks to an opportunity from Courtney Grover of Land Tejas, Marcial and his son David launched Perea Masonry Inc. What began as a father-and-son venture quickly grew. After earning his Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Houston, David joined Marcial in taking a leap of faith into building their own enterprise. In 2015, they purchased their first Bobcat, marking the early stages of the company’s expansion.

Today, Perea Masonry is a proud family-run business. David’s wife, Karina, his sister Mayra, and his brother Junior are now part of the team, each bringing their own strengths to support the company’s growth. Their combined dedication has helped Perea Masonry continue delivering top-quality work with integrity and reliability.

We remain honored to continue our partnership with Land Tejas—now known as Astro—and are grateful for the opportunities that have shaped our family’s journey.
